In addition to the $2,525.00 CASH purse, Supermoto USA will waive the entry fee for the Unlimited Pro Race. Riders will qualify for the 16 Lap pro final thru either the Leo Vince 450 or Motostrano OPEN EXPERT Classes. The top 8 finishers in each heat race are transferred in to the Pro Main and 4 additional spots are held for Superpole results, taken from the best lap times recorded during the heat races or thru personal selection.

Champagne Podium for the top three finishers immediately following main

* Riders participating in the Pro final are asked to volunteer for the Autograph session held each day during the lunch break.

TRANSPONDERS WILL BE USED IN ALL CLASSES -
If you want to use one, PLEASE BRING $5. AND YOUR LICENSE OR ID TO TECH TO GET YOUR TRANSPONDER. LAP TIMES FROM PRACTICE AND RACES WILL BE DISPLAYED AT TRACK ENTRANCE during the weekend.

RACERS who are not using a trailer, are asked to bring a 10 X 10 canopy or something to designate their pit area, as all trucks, vans and haulers will need to be moved out of the paddock and parked in the designated area.

POST entry for all classes will close at 9am on Saturday and 8am on Sunday. Sign ups will be located in the Supermoto pit.

Pit Riding - will not be allowed in the Supermoto pit area. Only licensed vehicles and riders are allowed to ride at Laguna Seca. The roads around the facility are patrolled and tickets are given out by officers. HELMET LAWS are also in force.

NO FRIDAY PRACTICE & NO race bike motors are allowed prior to practice on Saturday.

ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE THEIR SUPERMOTO USA LICENSE CARD AT THIS EVENT, ONE DAY AND TEMPORARY REPLACEMENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE IN THE SUPERMOTO PIT AT THE SIGN UP TABLE. THE LICENSE CARD IS TO BE USED AS IDENTIFICATION AND WILL ALLOW ACCESS THRUOUT THE WEEKEND. A LIMITED NUMBER OF PIT CREW CARDS WILL ALSO BE AVAILABLE. ALL CARDS ARE $10. IT IS RECCOMENDED THAT YOU ATTACH THE CARD TO A LANYARD AND WEAR IT AROUND YOUR KNECK. LANYARDS WILL BE AVAILABLE THRU SMUUSA AND THE LAGUNA SECA SUVENIER STORE, OR BRING YOUR OWN.

12 AND UNDER ARE ALWAYS ADMITTED FREE, EVERYONE ELSE WILL NEED A TICKET SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. SUPERMOTO RACERS AND THEIR GUESTS CAN GET THIER TICKETS AT THE SUPERMOTO USA WILL-CALL OR REGISTRATION.

ONLY PRE-ENTERD RACERS WILL RECEIVE A COMP CREDENTIAL. VEHICLE PARKING PASSES ARE ALSO GIVEN AT WILL-CALL REGISTRATION

Event Details

We are excited about partnering with Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and being part of the Corona AMA Superbike weekend. Supermoto USA racers will be part of a big fun filled weekend of two wheeled racing. For the first time in 2008 all the classes will have qualifying heats on Saturday and mains on Sunday. Due to a tight schedule and expected larger than average rider turn out, we wont be running all the Nor-Cal classes at round 7. We will have 20 rider mains with multiple heats and or semi's/"B" mains if needed. Intermediate riders outside of the top ten in points may chose to race Novice but should consider VET35, 450, or Expert. Same thing for V45. Production 150 riders can race in the super lightweight, and or 400AM classes. Beginners are encouraged to run in the Open Novice, 400AM and or Vet classes.

Event Tickets – Registration: Everyone attending the event will need a ticket to enter the facility. (under 12 are Free!) Each racers first entry will include 1, two day event pass and a single vehicle parking pass. You must Pre-Enter to get the ticket, or pay the discounted ($40.) advance price at the gate. Riders who have pre entered will be able to pick up their passes at the SMUSA will call. Up to three additional tickets per racer will be available at the advance ticket price. Riders who do not pre enter must also stop at will-call / registration to sign in. AMA membership will be required to race, please come prepared or plan to pay the $39.annual cost to become an AMA member.

Camping - There will be a $40.weekend cost to stay in the pits. Approximately 40 RV's will be able to camp in the Supermoto Pits and still have room for the rest of the racers. It will be a bit cramped and there is a second remote location that we will use if/when we fill up the primary pit. Absolutely no tents will be allowed in the paddock and RV's must be self contained. Big rigs and haulers will be placed around the perimeter of the SM pit and should plan on being there by early Friday. If you prefer a real camp site with hookups, then please arrange that thru the raceway, and you will be able to set up an additional pit in the paddock at no cost.  Easy ups and regular trailers will be allowed in the pits at no cost, but if your rig is visibly capable of sleeping in, be prepared to pay to have it in the pits. Racers with RV’s and toy hauler trailers should plan to arrive and set up before 7pm Friday. Non Haulers will not be allowed in the pits and all tow rigs will need to disconnect and move to the designated SMUSA parking area.

Red Bull after PARTY! AMA & SMUSA racers have been invited to attend the free Red Bull sponsored bash at the conclusion of the racing, you must have a 2008 License card with you to get in.

* Credentials will be available at SMUSA Will Call / Registration Friday 10am -7pm and Saturday morning at the main entrance to the raceway.
